Church of the Holy Name of Jesus
The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus is a diverse Catholic parish on New York’s Upper West Side. Working closely with their Director of Finance and Administration, I designed and built a dynamic website for the parish. The site uses one of my favorite content management systems (CMS), Expression Engine. This CMS makes the site easy to update and gives the site’s front page a dynamic feel as the Events Calendar is updated instantly, never going out-of-date. We made a decision early-on to focus the site’s photography on people and not the church’s architecture. This allows the site to project the community feel that is so evident at Holy Name.
