LEGO Mindstorms
Russ spent seven years working at the LEGO Company, makers of the famous building bricks. His first job there was to build an online community to support a new product called LEGO MINDSTORMS.
Mindstorms, an easy-to-use robotics building set, would go on to electrify the toy business, winning multiple industry awards. Today, thousands of kids and adults are building and programming LEGO robots.
When LEGO started work on an enhanced version of this hit product, they contacted Russ to write the help system for its programming interface. The new LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT will be available in stores in August 2006.
